Hello all. Got my B.A. (History) and M.A. (Education) from Stanford (1966), and PhD in Anthropology/archaeology from UCLA (1985). Spent 8 years in the Peace Corps as a teacher and administrator in Togo, West Africa. My wife is rom Togo and we were married there in 1973. Upon my return, taught at a private school (K-8) for three years before going to UCLA; was Director of Archaeology for an environmental firm for 9 years, before teaching Anthropology at Palomar Community College (San Diego County) and running their A.A. Degree Program in Archaeology for 23+ years. My wife has a degree in Special Education and is still teaching. I retired in December 2017, but have had an active archaeological research program in Togo since 1981 and was there in Jan-Feb 2020. Going back next year, hopefully. Often take 2-3 students with me. Our children are doing well and in good health as are my wife and I. Hope all of you are well and safe. Phil
