Hi dear friend.....Another birthday, so wishing you a very, very happy one, and many more. Sound of your voice was good to hear......could definitely hear a positive, peacefulness in all you said, particularly after you spoke of all the positive changes you've been going thru. And real glad to hear the new house is really working out. Will do my best to contact more often, but good help is hard to find and I just don't have the energy as in the past. My recent health issues really knocked the crap out of me, lost a bit of weight also. Got to keep a positive attitude and talking to you from time to time sure helps. Take care of your self. Lots of big hugs. Love. jw
Jim....How ironic our last contact was a Fort Ord in 65 during basic training. Just happened to bump into each other other during a lunch break....only able to talk for 5 or 10 minutes. Last comment you made was you were headed for Ranger School in Panama, then OCS. For me it was Army Security Agency, Fort Devens, MA. Always wanted to talk to you about Nam, how you survived 2 tours. Will never forget you Jim......have no doubt that Nam finally caught up with your health in the eand.....did so with other buddies of mine....Agent Orange did it, after so many of us were sprayed with it. Henry, my dear fried. Lost track of you for many years till Connie gave me your number in Modesto. So glad we had a chance to talk shortly before you passed on....still can't believe we at least got our last few works together. Like Odis, miss you lots dear friend. Joe Wachtel
A real character of all the guys who. hung around together for the most part while at Cubberly. A real, true friend.....the funny looks you'd get on your face after some off the wall comment, Jim. Yes, you are missed. Joe Wachtel

Well, my dear. No one can say that you, & Judy, sure as all git out, didn't try...am sure you put every bit of thought and energy into somehow making it work. At this time can only say "It wasn't meant to be". Thank you so very, very much for all your efforts. I will certainly miss seeing you, Randy, Judy, Ed and everyone else this year....I really, really was looking forward to our 55th. Guess I can only hope one in 2017. Maybe consider downsizing, look for some small resort area for a Saturday-Sunday weekend, everyone on their own...either they show or don't. I'll be up in Quincy, CA in mid-July for a big Norton M/C rally, owners from all over the country. Will look are while I'm there, see what might be available.....will let you know. Keep posting the photo's, a;ways enjoyable. Hi to Randy. Take good care. jw
